Getting lost on Annapurna

Distance/Altitude Profile for the circuit (Click to enlarge)

The Annapurna Trek was capped off with a rooftop bus ride back to civilization. It was the perfect way to end the journey apart from the fact that capped off more accurately describes the fact that I lost my cap just as we made it into town. Blown away, never to be seen again.

This was the last sighting of me with my favorite cap!

Just a few things I forgot to mention.

  • On the trail map they have labeled a 'hill' something that is almost 1km taller than my countries tallest mountain,
  • I lost track of the time so badly that I celebrated two Good Fridays and had two 29ths of March
  • If you want to watch footage of my 3 attempts to get lost, follow the link below

  1. Cool Lorry. The map didn't enlarge enough for me to read. I'd love to see it in detail!

  3. Ha ha ha...we all just had such a good chuckle. Yes I think I would have been a little stressed out to. I have just realised who you remind me of.....my best friend Kylie from high school. She is really out of the box like you....and she is a teacher too.. can't believe it's taken me that long to put it together....although Kylie would get lost in our little 3 bedroom house...at least you have a decent excuse for getting lost...loved the video.

  4. :o that poor cap! It must feel so alone out there in the great wide world without that head of yours to sit on!
    Hope you're having fun, Llamz
